Hugs

I am a learned hugger. I’m not a hugger by nature.

I remember when we first started going to our church I had to get used to hugs. I remember bracing myself before church because I knew the hugs would come. I had to tell myself that I would be just fine. Now I look forward to the hugs and I dish them out myself. There are some people that I look forward to receiving a hug from. I love getting a hug from Trish. I just feel healed after she hugs me. There’s something about how she embraces you, and I’m not talking about her boobs, that just makes you feel loved. She has healing in her hands and hugs. My favorite person to get a hug from is Rose. She hugs you with her whole being. Also, she doesn’t hug and release. Her hugs linger. Even if you try to break away from her hugs she doesn’t release until she’s ready. After the hug she lets out a happy sigh. Somehow after a hug from her I feel better about life.

Personally I’m not a great hugger. I’m a quick side hugger. It’s affectionate but not too intimate. It’s a step above a handshake.

What kind of hugger are you?

I'm definetly (sp?) a side hugger! I'm so not good at hugging people. I still have to build myself up for it all.

This is a good question. This may sound terrible but I used to find it easier to hug guys than girls. I hope that doesn't say something weird about me. It just seemed easier to get squeezed by Ira or Daniel than women sometimes. Now, with that being said I have to say I lovelovelove Brenda Boobie hugs. She hugs you tight front to front and squeezes and shakes you a little. I look forward to it. It fact I would like one right now. I am a full on front hugger, unless I feel not to close to the person. I love to get hugs, so I had to get better at giving them. I am still working at it.

Sorry this comment was almost longer than your post.

I'm a cautious boy-hugger. My brothers one shared with me what goes though a guy's head when a girl hugs them. They were trying to protect me, but I always think of that when I hug a boy-no offense, Fran. With girls, I'm pretty comfortable. If I know you well enough, I don't even mind giving or receiving an occasional booty slap.

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet of $100 bills. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tires and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............

May 2008 be the best year of your life!!!

Not much of a hugger myself. . although there are people out there (like Brenda Becker) where you know you're going to get a hug whether you like it or not. ;)

I'm more of a side-hugger, but I've gotten used to those front hugs. I'm more of a high-five giver! ;)

I kind of go with whatever the giver is doing. Also depends on my mood. That sounds terrible, I know. I like a good hug.

oh, just curious, was that last comment made by Aaron or Rachel?

Pam~the one right before yours. Why?

It says, "Aaron & Rachel," so I wondered if it was Aaron or Rachel. At first I was picturing Rachel giving side hugs and then I thought, what if that's Aaron talking? I pictured him being chased by Brenda Becker and giving side hugs!

I thought you asked me...WHEN WAS THE LAST COMMENT MADE BY AARON & RACHEL.
I couldn't figure out what you meant. Rachel is the one that made the comment. She's the High Five Girl.

Hive Five! You're a Super Mom!

Yep, that was me -- Rachel. I'm a high-five giver. . maybe that's from children's church or something. But, I've had to get used to getting hugs from kids. . weird, I know. Kids love to give hugs and I've learned to love to get them!! So, now that I think about it, I guess it actually depends on how old you are!! ;)

Signed: Rachel

On the subject of hugs, I too am a learned hugger. One aspect of the 'HUG' that makes me laugh is the way that everybody, guys and girls, perhaps with the exception of Rose M, always 3tap out.
But what does the tap mean? It means 2 things - "I've had enough, let me go, I am feeling uncomfortable. and "I'm Not Gay"

Free Hugs...anyone!

Hugs.... I am not a hug giver, but a hug reciever, I am getting better at it, but guys hug me just because they know I don't like it. I would rather hug a woman than a man, but I like the side hug.
Cherith, most guys your brothers were reffering to are probably the young pervs that were in high school.
