Help me.

Okay, I need some ideas. Tonight I'm going on a date with my baby's daddy, and I don't want to do the same ol' thing. (dinner and a movie) He has requested that I take him on a date, arrange for babysitting and surprise him with a good evening. He's never requested such a thing before so he must really need it. We've been promised a busy busy busy busy rest of the week so he wants some alone time with me tonight. I've already got babysitting. I just need a good plan.

His Mom will come over @ 6:30, and the latest we can be out is 10:00, but probably 9:00 because she doesn't like to get my kids to bed. So, without a lot of time I'm having trouble thinking of something fun. Also, $40 or less would be nice. That's almost half of my weeks budget for such things.

Impress me.

Ok, the weather promises to be clear tonight (as of 7:30 this morning) and I think a picnic would be great. I wanted to do this with Cole last Saturday, but it was raining. The only thing is, you have to find some place secluded in Abilene. I don't know about the where. You could order some take-out from Spano's or whatever you guys like and take it to your wonderful secluded place and just be alone in nature. Be sure to pack candles and a couple of warm blankets. Oh yeah-and some bubbly if you want/have it! That's my idea...in fact, I'm inspired to do it myself. I don't have anything else to do tonight. Thanks for the idea to come up with an idea. The end.

There is a park on Ambler that hardly anyone goes to. I use to take my kids there a lot. It's behind that softball field between Rick & Carolyn's and PizzaHut. Yeah, I know, I stink at directions. But, anyway, it's really beautiful and there is a creek that runs off to the side where y'all could sit by under some trees.

You should ask Pam. She knows PLENTY about hanging out in the park with Elliott. She may have some interesting ideas. HeeHee

I think all our eyebrows lifted when we read that...

So what did you do after all?

Wow. I've never even been close to having that kind of reputation so I think I'm just going to enjoy this for a little while!
