G-Tube

Okay, The time has come.

Randy and I will leave Monday at about 1:00 to take Miles for his g-tube surgery. He will have pre-op on Monday then surgery Tuesday.

I'm actually glad about the surgery. I really think it's a huge key to him getting over the continual pnuemonia. He needs freedom from this. Also, it will help from him being dehydrated all the time. After the surgery he will be able to have nutrition whether he feels like eating or not. Also, I'll be able to give him medicines even if he's asleep. I'm really so thrilled.

For so long Randy and I've been against him getting this done, but now I have peace and I'm even looking forward to it. I think with this done in combination with his pump that he got in May that his fourth year of life just may be the best one yet.

Even so, I'm tired.

Last week was such a long week for me.
This weekend was a lot of work.
I've crammed in as much as I could before my next trip and I'm feeling it.

I already feel emotionaly spent and that's not a good thing to be when I'm going into an emotionaly draining week.

Please pray for my whole family! We need to FEEL the Lord so close to us this week.
